Sukta 10.86
अयमेमि विचाकशद्विचिन्वन्दासमार्यम् । पिबामि पाकसुत्वनोऽभि धीरमचाकशं विश्वस्मादिन्द्र उत्तरः ॥
ayam emi vi-cākaśad vi-cinvan dāsam āryam | pibāmi pāka-sutvano ’bhi dhīram acākaśaṃ viśvasmād indra uttarāḥ ||
ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പോകുന്നു—വിവേകപ്രകാശത്തോടെ ദീപ്തനായി, ദാസ (അന്ധകാര-സേവകൻ)നെ ആര്യനിൽ നിന്ന് വേർതിരിച്ച്. ഞാൻ പാകസുത്വൻ—നന്നായി പിഴിഞ്ഞ സോമരസം പാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു; ധീരബുദ്ധിയിലേക്കു ഞാൻ ദീപ്തനാകുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ ഇന്ദ്രൻ സർവ്വത്തിലും ഉത്തമനായി ഉയരുന്നു.
