Sukta 10.81
किं स्विद्वनं क उ स वृक्ष आस यतो द्यावापृथिवी निष्टतक्षुः । मनीषिणो मनसा पृच्छतेदु तद्यदध्यतिष्ठद्भुवनानि धारयन् ॥
kíṃ svíd vánaṃ ká u sá vṛ́kṣa āsá yáto dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ níṣ tatakṣúḥ | manī́ṣiṇo mánasā pṛcchate dú tád yad adhyátiṣṭhad bhúvanāni dhāráyan ||
ഏതു വനം (മരദ്രവ്യം) ആയിരുന്നു? ഏതു വൃക്ഷമായിരുന്നു—അതിൽ നിന്നാണ് ദ്യാവാ-പൃഥിവിയെ കൊത്തി രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയത്? മനീഷികൾ മനസ്സിൽ ആ രഹസ്യം ചോദിക്കുന്നു—എല്ലാ ഭുവനങ്ങൾക്കും മീതെ നിലകൊണ്ട് അവയെ ധരിച്ചിരുന്നതെന്ത്?
