समिन्द्रेरय गामनड्वाहं य आवहदुशीनराण्या अनः । भरतामप यद्रपो द्यौः पृथिवि क्षमा रपो मो षु ते किं चनाममत् ॥

sám indrēraya gā́m anaḍvā́haṃ yá ā́vahat uśīnarā́ṇyā ánaḥ | bháratām ápa yád rápō dyaúḥ pṛthivi kṣámā rápō mó ṣú te kíṃ canā́mamat ||

ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ഉശീനരരുടെ വണ്ടി (അനഃ) കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന പശുവിനെയും നുകം വലിക്കുന്ന കാളയെയും നീ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്ക. ദ്യൗയും പൃഥിവിയും—ആധാരശക്തികൾ—യാതൊരു രോഗ-പീഡ (രപഃ) ഉണ്ടോ അതെല്ലാം അകറ്റിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകട്ടെ—നിനക്കു യാതൊരു ഹാനിയും ഒരിക്കലും തൊടാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
