किमङ्ग त्वा मघवन्भोजमाहुः शिशीहि मा शिशयं त्वा शृणोमि । अप्नस्वती मम धीरस्तु शक्र वसुविदं भगमिन्द्रा भरा नः ॥
kím aṅg tvā maghavan bhojám āhuḥ śiśī́hi mā śiśayáṃ tvā śṛṇomi | ápnasvatī́ máma dhī́r astu śakra vasu-vídaṃ bhágam indrā́ bhara naḥ ||
ഹേ മഘവൻ, നിന്നെ ‘ഭോജ’ (ഭോഗദാതാവ്) എന്നു അവർ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് വിളിക്കുന്നു? എന്നെ തീക്ഷ്ണമാക്കുക; ഉണർത്തുന്നവനായി നിന്നെ ഞാൻ ശ്രവിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ ശക്ര, എന്റെ ധീ (ബുദ്ധി) ഫലപ്രദമായ പ്രവർത്തനത്തോടെ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കട്ടെ; ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് വസുവിദ് (ധനം കണ്ടെത്തുന്ന) ഭാഗ്യം—യഥാർത്ഥ സമൃദ്ധി കണ്ടെത്തുന്ന ഓഹരി—കൊണ്ടുവരിക.
