ब्रह्म च ते जातवेदो नमश्चेयं च गीः सदमिद्वर्धनी भूत् । रक्षा णो अग्ने तनयानि तोका रक्षोत नस्तन्वो अप्रयुच्छन् ॥
bráhma ca te jāta-vedo námaś ceyáṃ ca gī́ḥ sádám íd várdhanī bhūt | rákṣā ṇo agne tánayāni tokā́ rákṣota nas tanvò ápra-yucchan ||
ജാതവേദസേ, നിനക്കായി ബ്രഹ്മം (പവിത്ര വചനം)യും നമസ്കാരവും, ഈ ഗീതയും ഉണ്ട്—അത് എപ്പോഴും വർദ്ധകമാകട്ടെ. അഗ്നേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ തനയങ്ങളെയും ടോകങ്ങളെയും (സന്തതിയെ) കാത്തുകൊൾക; ഞങ്ങളുടെ തനുവിനെയും കാത്തുകൊൾക, യഥാർത്ഥ ധാരണയിൽ നിന്ന് അത് ഒരിക്കലും വഴുതിപ്പോകാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
