Sukta 10.34
स्त्रियं दृष्ट्वाय कितवं ततापान्येषां जायां सुकृतं च योनिम् । पूर्वाह्णे अश्वान्युयुजे हि बभ्रून्त्सो अग्नेरन्ते वृषलः पपाद ॥
stríyaṃ dṛṣṭávāya kitaváṃ tatāpa 'nyéṣāṃ jāyā́ṃ sukṛ́taṃ ca yónim | pūrvāhṇé áśvān yuyujé hí babhrū́n tsó agnér ánte vṛṣaláḥ papāda ||
ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ കണ്ടാൽ കിതവൻ ദഹിക്കുന്നു—മറ്റൊരാളുടെ ഭാര്യയെയും ഉറച്ച ഗൃഹ-യോനി (വീട്-ആശ്രയം) യെയും കണ്ടുകൊണ്ട്. പൂർവാഹ്നത്തിൽ അവൻ തന്റെ തവിട്ടുനിറമുള്ള കുതിരകളെ കെട്ടി; എന്നാൽ അവസാനം അഗ്നിയുടെ അറ്റത്ത് വീണ വൃഷലനെപ്പോലെ തകർന്നു വീഴുന്നു—ക്ഷീണിച്ച്, പതിച്ച്.
