Sukta 10.31
नैतावदेना परो अन्यदस्त्युक्षा स द्यावापृथिवी बिभर्ति । त्वचं पवित्रं कृणुत स्वधावान्यदीं सूर्यं न हरितो वहन्ति ॥
náitā́vad enā́ paráḥ anyád asty ukṣā́ sá dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ bibharti | tvácaṃ pavítraṃ kṛṇuta svadhā́vān yád īṃ sū́ryaṃ ná haríto vahanti ||
ഇതിനപ്പുറം അതല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമില്ല—ആ വൃഷഭൻ; അവൻ ദ്യാവാ-പൃഥിവിയെ ധരിക്കുന്നു. സ്വധാവാൻ (സ്വശക്തിനിയമമുള്ളവൻ) അവൻ തന്റെ ആവരണം പവിത്രകരമാക്കുന്നു, ഹരിത (തേജസ്സുള്ള) അശ്വങ്ങൾ സൂര്യനെ മുന്നോട്ട് വഹിക്കുമ്പോൾ.
