Sukta 10.3
इनो राजन्नरतिः समिद्धो रौद्रो दक्षाय सुषुमाँ अदर्शि । चिकिद्वि भाति भासा बृहतासिक्नीमेति रुशतीमपाजन् ॥
ino rā́jan aratíḥ sam-iddhó raudró dákṣāya su-su-mā́m̐ adarśi | cikíd vi bhā́ti bhāsā́ bṛhatā́siknīm eti rúśatīm apā́jan ||
ഹേ രാജാവേ, സമിദ്ധനായ അഗ്നി—അരതി—പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി ദൃശ്യമാകുന്നു; ദക്ഷമായ കര്മ്മത്തിനായി രൗദ്രബലമുള്ളവന്, സുശുമാ (ഉത്സാഹം) നിറഞ്ഞവന്. ജാഗ്രതനും വിവേകിയും ആയി, മഹത്തായ ഭാസയാൽ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നു; ഇരുട്ടിനെ അകറ്റി, രുശതീ—പ്രകാശമയ ഉഷസ്സിന്റെ—ദിശയിലേക്കു നീങ്ങുന്നു.
