Sukta 10.25
त्वं नः सोम सुक्रतुर्वयोधेयाय जागृहि । क्षेत्रवित्तरो मनुषो वि वो मदे द्रुहो नः पाह्यंहसो विवक्षसे ॥
tváṃ naḥ soma su-krátur váyo-dhéyāya jā́gṛhi | kṣetrá-vit-taro mánuṣo ví vo máde drúho naḥ pā́hy áṃhaso vivákṣase ||
ഹേ സോമ, ശുക്രതു (ശുദ്ധവും ഫലപ്രദവുമായ സംकल्पമുള്ളവനേ), ജീവന്റെ പോഷകവൃദ്ധിക്കായി ഞങ്ങളിലുണരുക. മനുഷ്യനേക്കാൾ അധികം ക്ഷേത്രവിത്, നിന്റെ മദത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ ദ്രുഹ് (വഞ്ചകൻ) എന്നതിൽ നിന്നും അംഹസ് (ക്ലേശം/പാപം) എന്നതിൽ നിന്നും കാത്തുകൊൾക; ഞങ്ങളുടെ സത്ത യഥാർത്ഥ അവകാശപ്രാപ്തിയിലേക്കു വളരാൻ ഇടയാക്കുക.
