ádha gmantó uśánā pṛcchate vāṃ kádarthā na ā́ gṛhám | ā́ jagmathuḥ parākā́d diváś ca gmáś ca mártyam ||

അപ്പോൾ ഉത്സുകനായ അന്വേഷകൻ നിങ്ങളിരുവരോടും ചോദിക്കുന്നു: ഏതു ലക്ഷ്യത്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഗൃഹത്തിലേക്ക് വന്നു? നിങ്ങൾ ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് വന്നു—ദിവത്തിൽ നിന്നുമും ഗൂഢഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്നുമും—മർത്ത്യ മേഖലയിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിച്ച്.
