अपश्यं त्वा मनसा दीध्यानां स्वायां तनू ऋत्व्ये नाधमानाम् । उप मामुच्चा युवतिर्बभूयाः प्र जायस्व प्रजया पुत्रकामे ॥
ápaśyaṃ tvā manasā dīdhyā́nāṃ svā́yāṃ tanū́ ṛ́tvye nā́dhamānām | úpa mām uccā́ yuvatír babhūyāḥ prá jāyasva prajā́yā putra-kāme ||
മനസ്സിന്റെ ദീപ്തധ്യാനത്തോടെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കണ്ടു—നിന്റെ സ്വന്തം തനുവിൽ, ഋതുവിന്റെ യുക്തകാലത്ത് പ്രസവവേദനയിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നവളായി. എന്റെ മീതെ ഉയർന്നു വരിക; ശക്തിയുള്ള യുവതിയായി ഭവിക്ക; പ്രജയാൽ പ്രസവിക്ക—പുത്രകാമേ, പുത്രാർത്ഥിനീ—പുതിയ ജന്മം ധരിക്ക.
