Sukta 10.17
सरस्वतीं देवयन्तो हवन्ते सरस्वतीमध्वरे तायमाने । सरस्वतीं सुकृतो अह्वयन्त सरस्वती दाशुषे वार्यं दात् ॥
sárasvatīṃ devayánto havante sárasvatīm adhvaré tāyámāne | sárasvatīṃ sukŕto ahvayanta sárasvatī dāśúṣe vā́ryaṃ dāt ||
ദേവഭാവത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിയുന്നവർ സരസ്വതിയെ ഹ്വാനിക്കുന്നു; മുന്നേറുന്ന അധ്വര യജ്ഞത്തിലും സരസ്വതിയെ വിളിക്കുന്നു. സുകൃതർ—സത്കർമം ചെയ്യുന്നവർ—സരസ്വതിയെ ആഹ്വാനിക്കുന്നു; ദാശുഷേ (അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവന്) സരസ്വതി വാര്യ—ശ്രേഷ്ഠ—വരം നല്കട്ടെ: പ്രചോദിത വാണിയുടെ സമ്പത്തും തേജസ്സുള്ള വർധനയും.
