त्वं शर्धाय महिना गृणान उरु कृधि मघवञ्छग्धि रायः । त्वं नो मित्रो वरुणो न मायी पित्वो न दस्म दयसे विभक्ता ॥
tváṃ śárdhāya mahinā́ gṛṇānó urú kṛdhi maghavan chagdhí rāyáḥ | tváṃ no mitró váruṇo ná māyī́ pitvó ná dasma dayase vi-bhaktā́ ||
ഹേ മഘവൻ (ഇന്ദ്ര), നിന്റെ മഹിമയാൽ സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവനേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടായ്മയ്ക്കായി വിശാലത വരുത്തുക; ഞങ്ങളുടെ വിസ്തൃതി വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ച് ധനസമ്പത്തിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണത ദാനം ചെയ്യുക. നീ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് മിത്രനും വരുണനും പോലെയാകുന്നു—ക്രമനിയമത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയിൽ ജ്ഞാനി, മായാവി അല്ല; ഹേ അത്ഭുതനേ, ഉദാരനായ പിതാവുപോലെ കരുണയോടെ പങ്കുകൾ വിഭജിക്കുന്നവൻ നീ തന്നേ.
