अयमग्ने जरिता त्वे अभूदपि सहसः सूनो नह्यन्यदस्त्याप्यम् । भद्रं हि शर्म त्रिवरूथमस्ति त आरे हिंसानामप दिद्युमा कृधि ॥
ayám agne jaritā́ tvé abhūd ápi sáhasaḥ sūno náhy anyád asty ā́pyam | bhadráṃ hí śárma tri-varū́tham ásti te āré hiṃsā́nām ápa didyúm ā́ kṛdhi ||
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ഈ സ്തോതാവ് നിനക്കൊപ്പമൊന്നായിരിക്കുന്നു, ഹേ സഹസിന്റെ പുത്രനേ; എത്തിച്ചേരാവുന്ന മറ്റൊരു ഉറച്ച അഭയം ഇല്ല. നിന്റെ ശരണം മംഗളകരം, ത്രിവരൂഥം—മൂന്നിരട്ടി കാവലുള്ളത്. ഹിംസകരുടെ പ്രഹാരം ദൂരെയാക്കുക; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും ദീപ്തമായ സംരക്ഷണം സ്ഥാപിക്കു.
