यौ ते श्वानौ यम रक्षितारौ चतुरक्षौ पथिरक्षी नृचक्षसौ । ताभ्यामेनं परि देहि राजन्त्स्वस्ति चास्मा अनमीवं च धेहि ॥

yaú te śvā́nau yama rakṣitā́rau caturakṣáu pathirakṣī́ nṛcákṣasau | tā́bhyām enaṃ pári dehi rājan svastí cāsmā anamīváṃ ca dhēhi ||

ഹേ യമാ, നിന്റെ ആ രണ്ടു ശ്വാനങ്ങൾ രക്ഷകരാണ്—നാലുകണ്ണുള്ളവർ, പഥരക്ഷകർ, നൃചക്ഷസർ (മനുഷ്യരെ നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നവർ). അവരാൽ, ഹേ രാജാവേ, ഈവനെ ചുറ്റി കാത്തുകൊൾക. അവനിൽ സ്വസ്തി സ്ഥാപിക്ക; അവനിൽ അന്തർവ്യാധിയില്ലായ്മയും സ്ഥാപിക്ക.
