Sukta 10.131
कुविदङ्ग यवमन्तो यवं चिद्यथा दान्त्यनुपूर्वं वियूय । इहेहैषां कृणुहि भोजनानि ये बर्हिषो नमोवृक्तिं न जग्मुः ॥
kuvíd áṅga yáva-manto yávaṃ cid yáthā dā́nty anupūrváṃ víyūya | ihéhaiṣāṃ kṛṇuhi bhójanāni yé bárhiṣo námo-vṛktiṃ ná jagmúḥ ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ധാന്യസമൃദ്ധരായവരും പോലും ക്രമക്രമമായി തങ്ങളുടെ യവം (ജവം) പോലും വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നുവോ? ഇവിടെ ഇവിടെ അവർക്കായി ഭോജനങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കുക—ബർഹിഷ് (യജ്ഞ-പുല്ല്) മേൽ നമസ്കാരത്തിന്റെ ‘കത്തിക്കൽ’, അഥവാ യജ്ഞീയ ആദരത്തിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണത, ഇതുവരെ പ്രാപിക്കാത്തവർക്കായി.
