Sukta 10.131
नहि स्थूर्यृतुथा यातमस्ति नोत श्रवो विविदे संगमेषु । गव्यन्त इन्द्रं सख्याय विप्रा अश्वायन्तो वृषणं वाजयन्तः ॥
náhi sthū́ry ṛtuthā́ yātám asti nótá śrávo vivide saṃgaméṣu | gavyánta índraṃ sakhyā́ya víprā aśvāyánto vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ vājáyantaḥ ||
നിന്റെ വരവ് ഋതുക്കളുടെ ക്രമപ്രകാരം തന്നെയെങ്കിലും അത് സ്ഥിരൂലമായ, അശുദ്ധമായ രീതിയിലല്ല; നിന്റെ ശ്രവസ് (യശസ്) വെറും പുറം സംഗമങ്ങളിൽ മാത്രം കണ്ടെത്തപ്പെടുന്നതുമല്ല. വിപ്രർ സഖ്യതയ്ക്കായി ഇന്ദ്രനെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു—ഗവ്യ (പ്രകാശകിരണങ്ങൾ/ജ്ഞാനരശ്മികൾ) തേടിയും, അശ്വങ്ങളെ തേടിയും, ബലത്തിന്റെ പരിപൂർണ്ണതയ്ക്കായി വൃഷൺ (വൃഷഭൻ)നെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചും.
