अहं राष्ट्री संगमनी वसूनां चिकितुषी प्रथमा यज्ञियानाम् । तां मा देवा व्यदधुः पुरुत्रा भूरिस्थात्रां भूर्यावेशयन्तीम् ॥
aháṃ rā́ṣṭrī saṃgámanī vásūnāṃ cikituṣī́ prathamā́ yajñíyānām | tā́ṃ mā devā́ vyàdadhuḥ purutrā́ bhū́risthātrāṃ bhū́ry āveśáyantīm ||
ഞാൻ രാഷ്ട്രീ—സാർവ്വഭൗമ രാജ്ഞി—വസുക്കളുടെ സംഗമിനി, നിധികളെ സമാഹരിക്കുന്നവൾ; ഞാൻ ചികിതുഷീ—ജാഗ്രതയുള്ള ജ്ഞാതാവ്—യജ്ഞിയരിൽ ആദ്യത്തവൾ. ദേവന്മാർ എന്നെ പുരുത്രാ—അനേകം സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ—സ്ഥാപിച്ചു; എന്നെ ഭൂരിഷ്ഠാത്രാ—വ്യാപകമായി ഉറച്ച—മറ്റും ഭൂര്യാവേശയന്തീ—അനവധി രൂപങ്ങളിലും ജീവികളിലും പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുന്നവൾ—ആക്കി.
