Sukta 10.112
यस्य शश्वत्पपिवाँ इन्द्र शत्रूननानुकृत्या रण्या चकर्थ । स ते पुरंधिं तविषीमियर्ति स ते मदाय सुत इन्द्र सोमः ॥
yasya śaśvát papivā́m̐ indra śátrūn anānukṛtyā́ raṇyā́ cakártha | sá te púraṃdhiṃ táviṣīm iyarti sá te mádāya sutá indra sómaḥ ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര, നിന്റെ ശാശ്വത പാനത്താൽ നീ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടരാൻ അശക്തരാക്കി; വിജയത്തിന്റെ ആനന്ദം (രണ്യ) നീ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. ആ പിഴിഞ്ഞ സോമം നിനക്കായി പുരന്ധി—ശരിയായ വിവേകത്തിന്റെ സമൃദ്ധി—യും നിന്റെ തവിഷീ—പരാക്രമശക്തി—യും ഉണർത്തുന്നു; അത് നിന്റെ മദത്തിനായാണ്, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര.
