Sukta 10.111
सचन्त यदुषसः सूर्येण चित्रामस्य केतवो रामविन्दन् । आ यन्नक्षत्रं ददृशे दिवो न पुनर्यतो नकिरद्धा नु वेद ॥
sácanta yád uṣásaḥ sū́ryeṇa citrā́m asya ketávo rā́m avindan | ā́ yán nákṣatraṃ dadṛ́śe divó ná púnar yató nákir addhā́ nú veda ||
ഉഷസ്സുകൾ സൂര്യനോടു ചേർന്ന് സഞ്ചരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, അവന്റെ ചിത്രകിരണങ്ങൾ അവന്നു ദീപ്തമായ ആനന്ദം കണ്ടെത്തിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു. നക്ഷത്ര-ചിഹ്നം ദൃശ്യമാകുമ്പോൾ, അത് ദ്യൗസ്സിൽ നിന്നെന്നപോലെ തോന്നുന്നു—എന്നാൽ അത് വീണ്ടും എവിടെ നിന്നാണ് വരുന്നത് എന്ന് ആരും ഉറപ്പോടെ അറിയുന്നില്ല.
