Sukta 10.11
यस्ते अग्ने सुमतिं मर्तो अक्षत्सहसः सूनो अति स प्र शृण्वे । इषं दधानो वहमानो अश्वैरा स द्युमाँ अमवान्भूषति द्यून् ॥
yás te agne sumatíṃ márto ákṣat sáhaso sūno áti sá prá śṛṇve | íṣaṃ dádhāno váhamāno áśvair ā́ sá dyumā́m amávān bhūṣati dyū́n ||
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, സഹസഃ സൂനോ (ശക്തിയുടെ പുത്രാ), നിന്റെ സുമതി—ശുഭബുദ്ധിയുള്ള മാർഗ്ഗദർശനം—ലഭിക്കുന്ന ആ മർത്ത്യൻ പൂർണ്ണമായി ശ്രവിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇഷ് (പ്രേരണയുടെ ധാര) ധരിച്ചു, ഊർജ്ജത്തിന്റെ അശ്വങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടു വഹിക്കപ്പെട്ട്, അവൻ ദ്യുമാൻ അമവാൻ (തേജസ്വിയും ബലവാനും) ആകുന്നു; അവൻ ദിനങ്ങളെ പ്രകാശത്തോടെ അലങ്കരിക്കുന്നു.
