कीदृङ्ङिन्द्रः सरमे का दृशीका यस्येदं दूतीरसरः पराकात् । आ च गच्छान्मित्रमेना दधामाथा गवां गोपतिर्नो भवाति ॥
kīdṛ́ṅ índraḥ sarame kā́ dṛśīkā́ yásyedáṃ dūtī́r ásaraḥ parākā́t | ā́ ca gácchān mitrám enā dadhāmā́thā gavā́ṃ gopátir no bhavāti ||
ഹേ സരമേ, ഇന്ദ്രൻ എങ്ങനെയുള്ളവൻ—ഏത് സ്വരൂപമുള്ളവൻ, ഏത് ദർശനമുള്ളവൻ—അവന്റെ ദൂതിയായി നീ ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന് ഇവിടെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു? വരിക; ഇതിലൂടെ നിനക്കൊപ്പം സൗഹൃദം സ്ഥാപിക്കാം; അപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഗവാം ഗോപതി—പ്രകാശഗോവുകളുടെ പാലകനും രക്ഷകനും—ആകും.
