अदितिर्द्यौरदितिरन्तरिक्षमदितिर्माता स पिता स पुत्रः । विश्वे देवा अदितिः पञ्च जना अदितिर्जातमदितिर्जनित्वम् ॥

Transliteration

áditir dyáur áditir antárikṣam áditir mātā́ sá pitā́ sá putráḥ | víśve devā́ áditiḥ páñca jánā áditir jātám áditir jánitvam ||

Translation

അദിതിയേ ദ്യൗഃ (ആകാശം), അദിതിയേ അന്തരിക്ഷം; അദിതിയേ മാതാവ്—അവളേ പിതാവ്, അവളേ പുത്രൻ. സർവ്വ ദേവന്മാരും അദിതിയേ; പഞ്ച ജന (അഞ്ച ജനവിഭാഗങ്ങൾ/പ്രജകൾ)യും അദിതിയേ. ജനിച്ചതും അദിതിയേ, ജനനത്തിന്റെ ക്രിയയും ശക്തിയും അദിതിയേ.
