Sukta 1.85
वि ये भ्राजन्ते सुमखास ऋष्टिभिः प्रच्यावयन्तो अच्युता चिदोजसा । मनोजुवो यन्मरुतो रथेष्वा वृषव्रातासः पृषतीरयुग्ध्वम् ॥
ví yé bhrā́jante súmakhāsa ṛṣṭíbhīḥ prá cyāváyanto acyútā cid ójasā | manójavo yán maruto rathéṣv ā́ vṛ́ṣavrātāsaḥ pṛ́ṣatīr áyugdhvam ||
സുമുഖന്മാരായ (മരുതഗണം) അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഋഷ്ടി (ഭാല)കളാൽ ദീപ്തമായി ജ്വലിക്കുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ബലത്തോടെ അചലത്തെയും കുലുക്കുന്നു. ഹേ മരുതന്മാരേ, മനോജവ (മനസ്സിനോളം വേഗം) ആയി നിങ്ങൾ രഥങ്ങളിൽ പൃഷതീ (ചിതറ) അശ്വങ്ങളെ യോജിപ്പിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അജയ്യമായ ഇച്ഛാശക്തിയുള്ള വൃഷവ്രാത (വൃഷഭസമാന സംഘം) ആയി നിങ്ങൾ എത്തി.
