रोदसी आ वदता गणश्रियो नृषाचः शूराः शवसाहिमन्यवः । आ वन्धुरेष्वमतिर्न दर्शता विद्युन्न तस्थौ मरुतो रथेषु वः ॥
ródasī́ íti ā́ vadata gaṇa-śriyó nṛ-sā́caḥ śūrā́ḥ śávasā́hi-manyavaḥ | ā́ vandhúreṣv amátiḥ ná darśatā́ vidyút ná tasthau maruto rátheṣu vaḥ ||
‘രോദസീ (ദിവും പൃഥ്വിയും)!’—എന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിക്കുന്നു, ഹേ ഗണശ്രിയഃ (ഗണത്തിന്റെ ശോഭ), നൃഷാചഃ (മനുഷ്യസഹചർ) ശൂരാഃ, ശവസാഹി-ഹിമന്യവഃ (ബലത്തിൽ സർപ്പ-ഉഗ്രർ). നിങ്ങളുടെ രഥങ്ങളിൽ അമതി (അപരിമിത ശക്തി) ദർശനീയമായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു—വിദ്യുത് പോലെ; ഹേ മരുതോ, അത് നിങ്ങളുടെ രഥ-ബന്ധുരങ്ങളിൽ സ്ഥാനം പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
