ví vā́ta-jūto ataséṣu tiṣṭhate vṛ́thā juhū́bhiḥ sṛ́ṇyā tuvi-sváṇiḥ | tṛṣú yád agne vaníno vṛṣāyáse kṛṣṇáṃ te éma ruśád-ūrme ajara ||

Translation

വാതബലത്തിൽ പ്രേരിതനായി, അഗ്നിശക്തി പിഴിഞ്ഞൊഴുക്കുകളിലിടയിൽ (അതസേഷു) തെളിഞ്ഞ് നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു; ജുഹൂകളാൽ (യജ്ഞകരണ്ടികൾ) അത് വ്യർത്ഥമായി അധ്വാനിക്കുന്നില്ല—ഘോരനാദമുള്ള, പ്രബലമായി ഒഴുകുന്ന ഊർജധാര. എപ്പോൾ, ഹേ അഗ്നേ, നീ തൃഷ്ണയുള്ള വളർച്ചകളുടെ/വനസ്പതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വൃഷഭംപോലെ പൊങ്ങിവരുന്നുവോ, അപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ കൃഷ്ണ തടസ്സം തകർന്നു; നിന്റെ ദീപ്തമായ ഊർമി (തരംഗ-ചലനം) പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നു, ഹേ അജര.
