अप्रक्षितं वसु बिभर्षि हस्तयोरषाळ्हं सहस्तन्वि श्रुतो दधे । आवृतासोऽवतासो न कर्तृभिस्तनूषु ते क्रतव इन्द्र भूरयः ॥
áprākṣitaṃ vásu bibharṣi hástayor aṣā́ḷhaṃ sáhas tanví śrutó dadhé | āvṛ́tāso avatā́so ná kartṛ́bhis tanū́ṣu te krátava indra bhū́rayaḥ ||
നീ നിന്റെ കൈകളിൽ അക്ഷയ വസു (സമ്പത്ത്) ധരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ തനുവിൽ അജേയ ബലം—ശ്രുത (പ്രസിദ്ധ) ശക്തി—സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, നിന്റെ തനുവിൽ അനേകം ക്രതുക്കൾ (സങ്കൽപ്പങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തനശക്തികളും) ഉണ്ട്—സ്വയം ആവൃതം, സ്വയം രക്ഷിതം; മനുഷ്യ കർത്താക്കളാൽ നിർമ്മിതമല്ല.
