स रत्नं मर्त्यो वसु विश्वं तोकमुत त्मना । अच्छा गच्छत्यस्तृतः ॥
Transliteration
sá ratnáṁ mártyo vásu víśvaṁ tókamu tá tmanā́ | ácchā gacchaty ástṛtaḥ ||
Translation
ആ മർത്ത്യൻ തന്റെ ആത്മബലത്തിന്റെ ഋജു ശക്തിയാൽ രത്നത്തെ—സകല വസുവിനെയും, സന്തതിയുടെ വർധനയെയും—പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ അതിലേക്കു നേരെ പോകുന്നു, അസ്തൃതഃ—തിരിഞ്ഞുമാറാത്തവൻ.
