प्र वो यह्वं पुरूणां विशां देवयतीनाम् । अग्निं सूक्तेभिर्वचोभिरीमहे यं सीमिदन्य ईळते ॥
prá vo yáhvaṃ purūṇā́ṃ viśā́ṃ deva-yatī́nām | agníṃ sūktébhir vácobhir īmahe yáṃ sīm íd anyá īḷate ||
ദൈവത്തെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന അനേകം ജനസമൂഹങ്ങൾക്കായി ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ മഹത്തായ അഗ്നിയെ മുന്നോട്ടു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു; നന്നായി നെയ്ത സൂക്തങ്ങളാലും വചനങ്ങളാലും ഞങ്ങൾ അവനെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു—അവനെ തന്നെയല്ലോ മറ്റുള്ളവരും നിശ്ചയമായി സ്തുതിക്കുന്നത്.
