Transliteration
hata vṛtraṃ sudānava indreṇa sahasā yujā | mā no duḥśaṃsa īśata ||
Translation
ഹേ സുദാനവ (ഉദാരദാതാവേ), ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ സഹസാ-ശക്തിയോടു യുക്തനായി വൃത്രനെ വധിക്ക; ദുഃശംസ (ദുഷ്വചനക്കാരൻ) ശക്തി ഞങ്ങളിലേൽക്കരുത്—അസത്യവും വൈരിപ്രേരണയും തകർന്നുപോകട്ടെ.
