अपां नपातमवसे सवितारमुप स्तुहि । तस्य व्रतान्युश्मसि ॥
Transliteration
apā́ṃ napātám aváse savitā́ram úpa stuhi | tásya vratā́ny uśmasi ||
Translation
അപാം നപാത്—ജലങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രൻ—സവിതൃനെ നമ്മുടെ സഹായത്തിനായി സമീപത്തിൽ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ. അവന്റെ വ്രതങ്ങളെ, അവന്റെ ക്രമബദ്ധമായ പ്രവർത്തനമാർഗങ്ങളെ, ഞങ്ങൾ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
