तनूनपादृतं यते मध्वा यज्ञः समज्यते । दधत्सहस्रिणीरिषः ॥

tanū́napād ṛtáṃ yaté madhvā́ yajñáḥ sám ajyate | dádhat sahasríṇīr íṣaḥ ||

ഹേ തനൂനപാത്, ഋതം (സത്യ-ക്രമം) അനുസരിച്ച് ഒരാൾ സഞ്ചരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യജ്ഞം മധുവാൽ അഭിഷിക്തമാകുന്നു; അത് സഹസ്രിണീ ഇഷഃ—ബലത്തിന്റെ പ്രേരണകൾ, പോഷണങ്ങൾ—ധരിക്കുന്നു, ആത്മാവിന്റെ പുരോഗതിശക്തി വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നവ.
