Sukta 1.165
ब्रह्माणि मे मतयः शं सुतासः शुष्म इयर्ति प्रभृतो मे अद्रिः । आ शासते प्रति हर्यन्त्युक्थेमा हरी वहतस्ता नो अच्छ ॥
bráhmāṇi me matáyaḥ śáṃ sutā́saḥ śúṣma iyarti prábhṛto me ádriḥ | ā́ śāsate práti haryanty ukthemā́ hárī vahatas tā́ no áccha ||
എന്റെ ബ്രഹ്മാണികൾ—പ്രേരിത സ്തുതി-വചനങ്ങൾ, എന്റെ മതികൾ—ശുഭത്തിനായിരിക്കുന്നു; സുതാസഃ—പിഴിഞ്ഞ സോമം സന്നദ്ധമാണ്; എന്റെ ശുഷ്മ—വീര്യം ഉയിർക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ അദ്രി—സോമപേഷണ-ശില ഉയർത്തപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഉക്തത്തിൽ അവർ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു; മറുപടിയായി അവർ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ പ്രതികരിക്കുന്നു. ഹരി—ആ തവിട്ടുനിറമുള്ള രണ്ടു അശ്വങ്ങൾ, അവനെ ഇവിടെ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ.
