मा नो मित्रो वरुणो अर्यमायुरिन्द्र ऋभुक्षा मरुतः परि ख्यन् । यद्वाजिनो देवजातस्य सप्तेः प्रवक्ष्यामो विदथे वीर्याणि ॥

Transliteration

mā́ no mitró váruṇo aryamā́yur índra ṛbhukṣā́ marútaḥ pári khyan | yád vājíno deva-jā́tasya sáptéḥ prá-vakṣyāmo vidáthe vīryā́ṇi ||

Translation

മിത്രൻ, വരുണൻ, അര്യമൻ, ആയു (പ്രാണശക്തി), ഇന്ദ്രൻ, ഋഭുക്ഷൻ, മരുৎഗണം—ഞങ്ങളെ കുറ്റദൃഷ്ടിയോടെ നോക്കരുതേ. കാരണം ദേവജന്യമായ വേഗശാലിയായ അശ്വത്തിന്റെ വീര്യങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾ വിദഥ (സഭ)യിൽ പ്രസ്താവിക്കും—അന്തരാധിപത്യത്തെ യഥാവിധി വചനത്തിൽ ഉച്ചരിക്കും.
