कुविन्नो अग्निरुचथस्य वीरसद्वसुष्कुविद्वसुभिः काममावरत् । चोदः कुवित्तुतुज्यात्सातये धियः शुचिप्रतीकं तमया धिया गृणे ॥
kuvin no agnir ucathasya vīrasad vasuṣ kuvid vasubhiḥ kāmam āvarat | codaḥ kuvit tutujyāt sātaye dhiyaḥ śuci-pratīkaṃ tam ayā dhiyā gṛṇe ||
സ്തുതിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന വീരസത് അഗ്നി ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി വീരനാകുമോ? അവൻ വസു (ശുഭസമ്പത്ത്) ആയി, വസുക്കളോടൊപ്പം ഞങ്ങളുടെ സത്യകാമം നിറവേറ്റുമോ? പ്രേരകനായ (ചോദഃ) അവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ധിയകളെ ജയസിദ്ധിക്കായി പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുമോ? ശുചി-പ്രതീകം (ശുദ്ധതേജോമുഖം) ഉള്ള അവനെ ഞാൻ ഈ അഭിലാഷധിയയാൽ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.
