आ भन्दमाने उपाके नक्तोषासा सुपेशसा । यह्वी ऋतस्य मातरा सीदतां बर्हिरा सुमत् ॥
Transliteration
ā́ bhándamāne upāké náktoṣásā su-péśasā | yahvī́ ṛtásya mā́tarā sī́datāṃ barhír ā́ su-mát ||
Translation
സംഗമസ്ഥാനത്ത്, സമീപത്ത്, സുന്ദരരൂപങ്ങളായ രാത്രി-ഉഷസ്സുകൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് പ്രകാശിച്ച് വരിക. ഋതത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടു മഹാമാതാക്കൾ, സുമതിയും ശുഭഭാവവുംകൊണ്ട്, പവിത്ര ബർഹിസിൽ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് ഋതത്തിന്റെ താളവും പുതുക്കലും സ്ഥാപിക്കട്ടെ.
