रथाय नावमुत नो गृहाय नित्यारित्रां पद्वतीं रास्यग्ने । अस्माकं वीराँ उत नो मघोनो जनाँश्च या पारयाच्छर्म या च ॥
ráthāya nā́vam utá no gṛhā́ya nítyāritrāṃ patvátīṃ rāsy agne | asmā́kaṃ vīrā́ṃ utá no maghóno jánāṃś ca yā́ pāráyāc chárma yā́ ca ||
രഥത്തിനും, നാവിനും—ഞങ്ങളുടെ കടന്നുപോകലിന്നും—ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഗൃഹത്തിനും കൂടി, ഹേ അഗ്നേ, എപ്പോഴും ചപ്പുകളുള്ള, ചിറകുള്ള നൗക ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ദാനമരുളേണമേ. ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീരന്മാരെയും, മഘോനന്മാരെയും (സമൃദ്ധിയുള്ളവരെയും), ഞങ്ങളുടെ ജനങ്ങളെയും കൂടി—പാരമാക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ശർമം (രക്ഷ/ആശ്രയം) ഏതു ശക്തിയാണോ അതിനാൽ—അക്കരെ എത്തിക്കണമേ.
