यस्त्वामग्ने हविष्पतिर्दूतं देव सपर्यति । तस्य स्म प्राविता भव ॥
Transliteration
yás tvām agne havíṣ-patir dūtáṃ deva sapáryati | tásya sma prā́-avitā bhava ||
Translation
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ഹവിഷ്പതി (ഹവിഷിന്റെ അധിപൻ) ആയ യാരെങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ദേവദൂതനായി സേവിക്കുന്നുവോ, അവനു നീ നിശ്ചയമായും മുന്നേ നടന്ന് കാക്കുന്ന രക്ഷകനും വഴിയിലെ സഹായിയും ആകുക.
