Anasuya’s Counsel and Sita’s Swayamvara Narrative
तस्य लाङ्गलहस्तन्य कर्षतः क्षेत्रमण्डलम्।अहं किलोत्थिता भित्वा जगतीं नृपतेस्सुता।।2.118.28।।
tasya lāṅgalahastasya karṣataḥ kṣetramaṇḍalam | ahaṃ kilotthitā bhitvā jagatīṃ nṛpateḥ sutā ||2.118.28||
അവൻ കൈയിൽ ലാംഗലം പിടിച്ച് യാഗഭൂമിയുടെ മണ്ഡലം ഉഴുതുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ, ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയെ ഭേദിച്ച് ഉയർന്നു വന്നതായി കേൾക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ രാജാവിന്റെ പുത്രിയായി.
