मिथिलाधिपतिर्वीरो जनको नाम धर्मवित्।क्षत्रधर्मे ह्यभिरतो न्यायतश्शास्ति मेदिनीम्।।2.118.27।।
mithilādhipatir vīro janako nāma dharmavit | kṣatradharme hy abhirato nyāyataḥ śāsti medinīm ||2.118.27||
“മിഥിലയിൽ ജനകനെന്ന പേരുള്ള ഒരു വീരരാജാവുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ധർമ്മവിദനായ അവൻ ക്ഷത്രധർമ്മത്തിൽ നിരതനായി നീതിപൂർവ്വം ഭൂമിയെ ഭരിച്ചിരുന്നു.”
