कामाद्वा तात लोभाद्वा मात्रातुभ्यमिदं कृतम्।न तन्मनसि कर्तव्यं वर्तितव्यं च मातृवत्।।2.112.19।।
kāmād vā tāta lobhād vā mātrā tubhyam idaṃ kṛtam | na tan manasi kartavyaṃ vartitavyaṃ ca mātṛvat || 2.112.19 ||
മകനേ, സ്നേഹത്താലോ ലാഭലോഭത്താലോ, നിന്റെ അമ്മ നിന്റെ നന്മയ്ക്കായി ഇതു ചെയ്തു; അതിനെ മനസ്സിൽ കയ്പ്പായി പിടിച്ചുവെക്കരുത്—അവളോടു മാതാവിനോടെന്നപോലെ പെരുമാറുക.
