धार्मिकेणानृशंसेन नरेण गुरुवर्तिना।भवितव्यं नरव्याघ्र परलोकं जिगीषता।।2.105.44।।

ഹേ നരവ്യാഘ്ര, പരലോകവിജയം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ ധാർമ്മികനും, അനൃശ്യംസനുമായ (കരുണാശീലനും), ഗുരുവൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ വചനത്തിന് അനുസരിക്കുന്നവനുമായിരിക്കണം.
