Bharata’s Petition and Rama’s Instruction on Time and Mortality
आत्मानमनुतिष्ठत्वं स्वभावेन नरर्षभ।निशाम्यतु शुभं वृत्तं पितुर्दशरथस्य नः।।2.105.45।।
ātmānam anutiṣṭha tvaṃ svabhāvena nararṣabha |
niśāmya tu śubhaṃ vṛttaṃ pitur daśarathasya naḥ ||2.105.45||
ഹേ നരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദശരഥന്റെ ശുഭവൃത്തം നിരീക്ഷിച്ച്, നീ സ്വഭാവാനുസരിച്ച് ആത്മധർമ്മത്തിൽ അചഞ്ചലനായി നിന്നെ തന്നേ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച് നിലകൊള്ളുക.
