यस्मि॑न् वृ॒क्षे म॒ध्वदः॑ सुप॒र्णा नि॑वि॒शन्ते॒ सुव॑ते॒ चाधि॒ विश्वे॑ । तस्य॒ यदा॒हुः पिप्प॑लं स्वा॒द्वग्रे॒ तन्नोन्न॑श॒द् यः पि॒तरं॒ न वेद॑

IAST Transliteration

yásmin vṛ́kṣe madhvádāḥ supárṇā nivíśante súvate cā́dhi víśve | tásya yádā́huḥ píppalaṃ svādv ágre tán nónn aśat yáḥ pitáraṃ ná véda ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

In which tree the honey-eating fair-winged settle them, and it bringeth forth all beings thereupon—when they speak of its sweet pippala at the top, let him not partake thereof who knoweth not the Father.

Translation

ഏത് വൃക്ഷത്തിൽ മധുഭക്ഷക സുപർണങ്ങൾ വസിക്കുന്നു, അതിന്മേൽ എല്ലാ ജീവികളും ജനിക്കുന്നു—അവർ അതിന്റെ മുകളിൽ ഉള്ള മധുരമായ പിപ്പലത്തെപ്പറ്റി പറയുമ്പോൾ, പിതാവിനെ അറിയാത്തവൻ അതിൽ പങ്കുചേരരുത് (അത് ഭക്ഷിക്കരുത്).
