सने॑मि च॒क्रम॒जरं॒ वि वा॑वृत उत्ता॒नायां॒ दश॑ यु॒क्ता व॑हन्ति । सूर्य॑स्य॒ चक्षू॒ रज॑सै॒त्यावृ॑तं॒ यस्मि॑न्नात॒स्थुर्भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑

sánemi cakrám ajáram ví vāvṛt uttānā́yāṃ dáśa yuktā́ vahanti | sū́ryasya cákṣū rájasā́ity āvṛ́taṃ yásminn ātásthur bhúvanāni víśvā

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The rimmed wheel, unaging, hath rolled forth; upon the outspread expanse ten yoked ones draw it on. The Sun’s eye goeth, wrapped about with rajas; therein all worlds have taken their firm station.

Translation

അറ്റമുള്ള ചക്രം, അജരമായത്, മുന്നോട്ടു ഉരുളിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; വിരിച്ച വിശാലതയിൽ പത്ത് യുക്തർ (കെട്ടിയവർ) അതിനെ വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു. സൂര്യന്റെ ചക്ഷു രജസാൽ ആവൃതമായി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു; അതിൽ സർവ്വഭുവനങ്ങളും തങ്ങളുടെ ദൃഢസ്ഥാനം കൈവരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
