Sukta 83
प्रास्मत् पाशा॑न् वरुण मुञ्च॒ सर्वा॒न् य उ॑त्त॒मा अ॑ध॒मा वा॑रु॒णा ये । दु॒ष्वप्न्यं॑ दुरि॒तं नि ष्वा॒स्मदथ॑ गच्छेम सुकृ॒तस्य॑ लो॒कम्
prá asmát pā́śān váruṇa muñca sárvān yá u uttamā́ ádhamā vāruṇā́ yé | duṣvápnyaṁ duritáṁ ní ṣv asmád áthā gacchema sukṛ́tasya lokám ||
Release from us, O Varuṇa, all nooses—those Varuṇian bonds, whether uppermost or lowermost. Set down and wholly remove from us the evil dream and the mischance; then may we go to the world of the well-earned good.
ഹേ വരുണാ, ഞങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു എല്ലാ പാശങ്ങളും അഴിച്ചുവിടുക—മുകളിലുള്ളതോ താഴെയുള്ളതോ ആയ വരുണീയബന്ധങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം. ദുഷ്സ്വപ്നജന്യമായ ദുഃഖവും ദുരിതവും ഞങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു താഴെയിറക്കി പൂർണ്ണമായി നീക്കുക; പിന്നെ ഞങ്ങൾ സുകൃതത്തിന്റെ ലോകത്തിലേക്കു പോകട്ടെ.
