शत्रुनाशनम्। सांत॑पना इ॒दं ह॒विर्मरु॑त॒स्तज्जु॑जुष्टन । अ॒स्माको॒ती रि॑शादसः

śatrunā́śanam | sā́ntapanā idáṃ havír marútas tád juṣṭana | asmā́kōtī́ riśā́dasaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Enemy-destroying. This scorching oblation—O Maruts, accept ye that: ye who are our succour, devourers of harm.

Translation

ശത്രുനാശനം. ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഹവിർ—ഓ മരുത്ഗണങ്ങളേ—സ്വീകരിച്ച് പ്രസാദത്തോടെ അനുഭവിക്കുവിൻ. ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹായികളേ, ഹാനിയെ ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരേ.
