Sukta 31
यां ते॑ कृ॒त्यां कूपे॑ऽवद॒धुः श्म॑शा॒ने वा॑ निच॒ख्नुः । सद्म॑नि कृ॒त्यां यां च॒क्रुः पुनः॒ प्रति॑ हरामि॒ ताम्
yā́ṃ te kṛtyā́ṃ kū́pe ’vadadhúḥ śmaśāné vā nicakhnúḥ | sádmani kṛtyā́ṃ yā́ṃ cakrúḥ púnaḥ práti harāmi tā́m ||
What witchcraft they have laid for thee in a well, or have buried in the cremation-ground; what witchcraft they have wrought within the dwelling—this do I take and bear back again in return.
കിണറ്റിൽ നിനക്കായി അവർ വെച്ച കൃത്യയെ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ശ്മശാനത്തിൽ കുഴിച്ചുമൂടിയതിനെ; വസതിക്കുള്ളിൽ അവർ ചെയ്ത കൃത്യയെ—അത് ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും പ്രതിഫലമായി എടുത്തുകൊണ്ട് തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു।
