वध्र॑यस्ते खनि॒तारो॒ वध्रि॒स्त्वम॑स्योषधे । वध्रिः॒ स पर्व॑तो गि॒रिर्यतो॑ जा॒तमि॒दं वि॒षम्

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 4.6.8

vádhrayas te khanitā́ro vádhris tvám asy oṣadhe | vádhriḥ sá párvato girír yáto jātám idáṃ viṣám ||

Vadhryas are thy diggers; thou art Vadhri, O Herb. Vadhri is that mountain, that rock, whence this poison hath been born.

നിന്നെ കുഴിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നവർ വധ്രയന്മാർ; ഹേ ഔഷധി, നീ വധ്രി. വധ്രിയേ ആ പർവ്വതം, ആ ഗിരി—അവിടെ നിന്നാണ് ഈ വിഷം ജനിച്ചത്.
