Sukta 31
प्रा॒णेन॑ वि॒श्वतो॑वीर्यं दे॒वाः सूर्यं॒ समै॑रयन्। व्य॑१हं सर्वे॑ण पा॒प्मना॒ वि यक्ष्मे॑ण॒ समायु॑षा
prāṇéna viśváto-vīryaṃ devā́ḥ sū́ryaṃ sám airayan | vy àháṃ sárveṇa pā́pmánā ví yákṣmeṇa sám ā́yuṣā
With prāṇa, with might on every side, the Gods have set the Sun in motion. So may I be parted from all evil taint, parted from yákṣma, and joined with full length of life.
പ്രാണത്താൽ, എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലുമുള്ള വീര്യത്തോടെ, ദേവന്മാർ സൂര്യനെ ഗതിയിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. അതുപോലെ ഞാൻ സർവ്വ പാപമലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വേർപെടട്ടെ; യക്ഷ്മയിൽ നിന്നുമും വേർപെടട്ടെ; പൂർണ്ണ ആയുസ്സിനോട് ചേർന്നിരിക്കട്ടെ.
